Dark Was The Night is a compilation album dedicated to raise funds and awareness for HIV and AIDS for the benefit of the Red Hot Organization. It will be released by 4AD, and it sounds awesome, with artist as varied as Beirut, Sufjan Stevens (featured here), Kronos Quartet, and Yo La Tengo, to name a few.

A new screenshot of the Jolicloud operating system was unveiled earlier today, and so far, I like what I see. The seamless integration of net features, and desktop applications is endearing. Hope it works as great as it looks!

US President-elect Barack Obama is to appear on the cover of a special edition of a Spider-Man comic. A six-page story, with the superhero saving the day when an imposter tries to take Mr Obama’s place as president, will hit shelves next Wednesday.
