One word: Barcelona
So we are one day in the trip (well, 2), and I didn’t find my trinket yet, but I did take some good pictures already. Lots of them need some treatment, and I forgot to install the proper imaging tools, so blah.
Still, a few pictures:
Things we learned
Barcelona is probably the best place I’ve been in my life. Spanish television is funny, especially the ads. The food is amazing so far. Wine and beer is A LOT cheaper than in North America. We find people very creative when it comes to parking cars, or driving in the streets. Clean city. Good bars.
We walked a lot, since it’s how to end up finding the weirdest (and most awesome) things in a city. And a wedding was happening in one of the plazas we went in, and we saw this dance:

We are staying right in the middle of Barri Gotic, the oldest part of Barcelona.
What is great is it is filled with nice restaurants, and most streets are really busy at night. A must-be place. Tomorrow I’ll post a few restaurants you may want to try.
So in the end we didn’t really visit much, but we got a really nice feel of the place. What sucks though, is that the Gaudi Fountain is being renovated (GAH), as well as the Cathedral of Santa Eulalia (La Seu), for which I didn’t even bother to take a picture, that’s how pissed I saw, that 2 things I really wanted to see were closed off.
But all in all, a great first day, and I wanna stay here for the remainder of my life. 2nd was even better, but that’s for tomorrow.
Good night!
